Without air you could reduce your tire pressure by 14.7 psi. Internal combustion engine cars would not run without air, EVs would have trouble cooling their battery packs, and the passengers would either die or have trouble getting in and out of the vehicle because of their space suits and environmental support packs.
But sailing would really suck - it would be like the Chesapeake in the summer.
Actually, most of the universe doesn't have air. So it's a trace material in a very small number of minuscule planets. A contaminant maybe. We just happen to have evolved to use the oxygen part to drive a biochemical pathway to generate energy.
